An important component for the security of residential areas is the identification and mapping of potential risk (Risk Assessment), the location of the guarded residential area, the kind of threats that may arise, the possible ways they can occur, the measures and means that will be required for the properties’ safety but also the safety of the local residents.

The primary objective of the guarding task of a residential area is the safeguarding and protection of life, the safeguarding and protection of all tangible and intangible things from loss due to an accident, theft, deception, fire, explosion, damage or impairment, with the integration - in safeguarding and protection – of all aspects of loss prevention.
